Kickstarter Final Reflections

The campaign ends tomorrow at 6 PM and with that, I just finished inking the last page. Tones and letters need to be done but after that it's off to the printers!

I've lived with this project for a couple of years in various stages and seeing it coming together is surreal. It’ll be even more surreal when the proof-copy is ordered and then even more so on release day.

Having created promotional images and songs while working to get the book done felt like an extreme balancing act but also an opportunity to push myself artistically and to show my commitment to this graphic novel and the process in putting it together.

From the first week, the excitement and energy was there and stayed throughout. The process has been a reward and even more rewarding has been seeing the support poured out.

I want to express my thanks again as this campaign closes out; it means so much that this is happening and that there was support to get the campaign fully funded. I can't thank you enough and look forward to getting rewards out!

We're full steam ahead to June 30th when Sanguine Foundations releases for free digitally.
