Kickstarter Week-Three Reflections

The Kickstarter campaign has just a little over a week left and I'd like to acknowledge the people who helped in getting the promotional videos made.

Alaïa Hendrix was the star of this whole series of shorts, the camera loved her and we loved working with her. Her willingness to step in front of the camera and just embody and execute the vision was stellar. Her enthusiasm was infectious and I can't thank her enough for bringing these visuals to life.

Long-time collaborator Beej has always been a champion of picking the camera up and this was no different as the promotion for the graphic novel's release was able to be multidisciplinary, blending creative passions and new hobbies. Beej served as assistant director and helped on set, stepping in to help adjust and readjust in addition to taking BTS footage and photos.

There's no new promo video coming but you will get looks behind the scenes.

It's always fulfilling to see the interplay between passions and skills as they coalesce; in this case, from the promotional campaign for what is my most ambitious project yet.

There are 9 days left in the campaign and I'm so excited because we did it and it wouldn't have happened without the community of collaborators, family, friends and supporters. Thank you.
